My dad chose to let the girls go live with their mother. I have sooooo many feelings about this. On one hand, my dad is not the right choice for them. Since Denny passed away he has been severely depressed, drinking and he's into drugs really bad now. He's losing his business, his house, and a repo-man showed up today to take his truck (at our house, he doesn't live here anymore). So obviously, he's just not able to care for them right now. Tabatha has made great strides in her parenting - I don't care for her living situation at all, but I do think she is financially, emotionally, capable of parenting now. But in my own way I just still think they should be here with us. There are things I won't ever say to the people involved but I wish I could.

To Tabatha I would remind her of how horribly she screwed up parenting the first time around. I want to scream at her, "why are you taking them now? I am the one who held them when they were sick, checked their closets when they were scared, took them to the dr and made sure they stayed healthy. I held them while they cried for you, I reassured them of their worth when you did everything in your power to make them feel worthless to you." I have all their baby pictures, Easter, Christmas, every celebration for them for the last 4 years and I want them to have copies but it's gonna be hard to put that together and give them to Tabatha, because I feel like being selfish and saying "come to me when you want to see these years of your life cause SHE knew nothing about them." But I'm better than that, I guess. Or at least I know I should be.

To my dad I want to tell him how miserably he failed the girls. At least we had our mom, these girls had ONLY him (legally) and he FAILED them. He showed them nothing useful, he was never there for them, and he will be contributing to their poor expectations of men for the rest of their lives. He was a miserable example, allowing himself to be arrested in front of them, endangering their lives to drink and drive, and just in general not taking very good care of them.

To Eric I want to scream and run in the other direction with his baby that is going to be born next month. He DOES NOT deserve more children. How is this fair? I know I've said it before, and it's redundant now, but really, how is this fair? He still has no job, he doesn't care either, he's hopped up on drugs and alcohol himself and doesn't care enough about his baby or the girls to stop. He's such a loser that TABATHA was able to get the girls back. He is bringing Dad down with him, now I know my dad is supposed to be the adult here, but my brother has hooked him up with the drugs and led him to this lifestyle.

I guess I'm just angry. I think that the girls should have been with us, I just want to see them to grow up to reach their maximum potential and I just don't see that happening. Tabatha originally said the girls could still go to church with my mom but hasn't showed up to drop them off so they could go in weeks. And I want to invite the girls to Justin's birthday party but I don't want Tabatha's new little family there. I don't mind her, it's her "stepdaughters" I don't want there. (Tabatha is like 22 and she has 17 and 18 year old teeny-bopper step-daughters, yuck.)

Anyhow, I sure hope everything works out for the girls' sake. This sucks.

Happy, Happy Birthday to MAREN!!!!

It's Maren's birthday!! Yay! I remembered this yesterday while we had a talk about how awful we are with dates and how we use email reminders to tell us when people's birthdays are (cause we're blondes!) and well um, my email reminder failed me! I had a nice long chat with Maren and totally spaced it until ding-dong, you've got mail, my email reminded me - "hey space cadet, it's your bud's b-day!"

Soooooooo, I get to tell everyone all about what a wonderful person Maren is on her very special day! Maren is ALWAYS concerned about others, a GREAT listener, and the BEST friend a girl could ask for! She always makes time to talk, and stays close even though we're soooooo far apart! Maren always offers whatever she can give to her friends, the kind of girl who'd give you the Shade shirt off her back ;). Maren was there for me during the best day of my life, my sealing day. She helped get me there, and has been like a sister to me.

I love ya girl!!

And a photo tribute to my pal Maren - a pic from the best day of my life, one I was able to share with her!

Whew! We just did a marathon Language Arts session because yesterday I was lazy and didn't do school with Jakey but a few math problems because Kevin didn't work and we all spent the day together. It was a good lesson though, he learned about slavery, the Civil War, and Harriet Tubman. It made me want to re-read Gone With The Wind and Scarlett - I LOVE those books! When I first introduced the idea of the Civil War and what they were fighting about I asked him and Justin who they thought won the war, and Jakey said "the North, we don't have slaves today." and Justin said "The North, because the people in the South were lazy, and didn't fight as hard." LOL So the 2-almost-3-year-old, who can't even remember to go potty in the toilet, has profound observations on why the Confederates lost the Civil War...I think I should be able to reason with him to potty in the toilet, don't you?

Last night I watched Supernanny and there was a segment on potty training, cause this couple was trying to potty train their three year old...he really didn't look three, to me anyways. Justin is going to be 3 in 4 weeks and I don't think he'll be potty trained. We're trying, and we had it once but a growth spurt where an insane need to drink and eat which caused going to the potty a million times a day, set us back some. I bought some pullups, I know I think they're a waste too, but in the interest of Justin's teeth I couldn't keep giving him candy EVERYTIME he went potty, so now we're down to ONE sugar free candy, for all the stars being on his pullups (meaning no pee) at "check-in's" which is lunchtime and dinnertime and bedtime. If this works, we'll gradually decrease the checkins and then move to big boy underwear. We'll see though, I'm not that hopeful, I just know that he'll be potty trained before he's 4 and that's good enough for me.

So, Flushed Away is playing at the $1 theatre and today is Tuesday which is $0.50 day so I think I might take the boys to see it, or just Jakey. Kevin's working in town this week so he's gettiing home around 1 or 2 pm, which is very nice. I sure hope that his interview with the City goes well next week. Remember to cross everything next Tuesday, the 30th, at 2:00 pm!!

Well my "to-do's" for this Tuesday are:

* laundry, laundry, and more laundry
* clean the kitchen floor
* vacuum all the floors in the house
* organize the family room a bit

And now I'm starving, so I must go eat breakfast. Later!

I usually don't read the Relief Society lesson, not for any particular reason, just that I am busy planning Sharing Time, etc. and don't find the time. Occassionally I do though. Yesterday I went to the Los Angeles Temple for my parent's sealing (that I was really struggling with) and I took along the RS manual to read on the ride down. Wow. It's like that lesson was meant for us (me, my ward, Mindy's family, Mindy's friends) this week after her death.

Could Heavenly Father have prevented Mindy from dying? Definately, but he didn't and she's better for it, and so will be the rest of us. We'll learn from this, some of us will try to live closer to Heavenly Father, to be better and keep our covenants better, because we've been reminded that you "never know". Some of us bought more life insurance, or went to the dr for physicals we'd been putting off. Some of us read our scriptures more, prayed harder, and fasted with more faith than ever before in our lives. A few of us played with our kids longer, spent more time with our spouses, and took opportunities to attend the temple that we might have passed up on otherwise. We told our friends what they meant to us, made sure our families knewe how much we love them and took more time to make memories with both. All of us mourn, but feel the great peace of the Spirit testifying to us that Mindy is ok, that she's better than ok, and that we will be too.

I sort of wish I had been in RS when this lesson was given, because all I have is the text of the lesson and none of the insights that the sisters in my ward had, but some of us stood in the hallways between RS and Sunday School and talked about it just for a minute and I can just imagine what a special lesson it was. And at the beginning of February we're going to have a special Enrichment night dedicated to some of the scriptures that the lesson covered and to really reviewing this idea of it being destiny and not so tragic. Tomorrow is the deadline I've set for myself. I have the letter that I wrote Mindy and didn't get to send before she went into a coma, I am going to send it because Ben's putting together a binder of all the letters and cards he's getting for the kids so when they're older they can have that peice of their mom, tomorrow I'm going to mail the letter and the blank card I've had for a week that I can't think of what to say. "I'm sorry" doesn't seem sufficient, I hope I can find the words that I need to say.

Finally

A positive OPK, I thought they were going to be "almost" positive forever! But I knew it was coming when I woke up feeling bruised and swollen, the Clomid has made me have 4 really good follies and the dr said it would be very soon I would ovulate, so now we just wait to see if I get pregnant this month. Target has digital pregnancy tests on sale 2 for $9 so I'm going to get some of those tomorrow during the sale and in two weeks we'll know! I sure hope this cycle works, we'll probably have to take Feb and March off from TTC for insurance reasons til everything is settled, Kevin's job opportunity with the city looks like it's gonna happen, if I'm already pregnant it won't be a huge deal cause insurance is easier to deal with when pregnant than infertile.

Anyhow, other than that not much is going on around here. Kevin hasn't been working this week because alot of the freeways, including the 5 (Grapevine) have been closed due to snow and ice and so he can't work. It's been ok having him home, but I'm ready for him to go to work! LOL Today he's taking his truck into the glass shop to get the windshield fixed and to get his insurance info from his work because the freeway that leads to his work just opened with police escorts and they are expecting to close it again this afternoon. It's REALLY cold here! In CA it should never be below 50 for the high in the winter....lately it's been upper 30's low 40's and at night into the teens and twenties, setting records.

Well I better go get started with Jakey's school work - we're doing alot of history and science today to catch up in those subjects and art. We had a review week in math and language arts so I know he's up to date there. I'm sure I'll be back when I can think of more interesting things to blog about.

Oh yes, I did read an article yesterday that said Britney Spears might be pregnant - gag me.

I don't even know what to title my blogs anymore. Maybe by the end of typing this I'll come up with something?

Yeah, Mindy's obituary was beautiful. Mindy was beautiful, she was a fantastic person. Graceful, articulate, the best listener on the planet, and beyond kind.

I probably could have worked things out to go to Utah for the funeral, but I know that Mindy wouldn't have wanted me to leave my children and family to travel to Utah and right now just isn't the best time for me to leave, so I'm staying here while some of our ward is traveling to Utah for the funeral.

Anyhow, I went to the doctor today for my migraines I've been having and he thinks it's that my thyroid and insulin stuff is out of whack so he's sending me to an endocrinologist...unfortunately the closest endocrinologist that accepts my insurance is in Lancaster, which is like 2 hours away. He prescribed me a new med to try Maxalt, instead of the Imitrex, but both are not good classes for pregnancy and if I get pregnant I won't be able to take anything for migraines, not even ibuprofen, well Tylenol but those don't even touch my migraines. So hopefully this endocrinologist will know, and he says my thyroid is further enlarged and that is really concerning him so he wants the endo's opinion on whether or not I should do the thyroid uptake test (the test where I can't take my synthyroid for 30 days beforehand) I'm hoping it's nothing serious and that he says I don't need it, but we'll see.

In other news, on Friday Kevin's work decided to cut our health insurance, we managed to get it back because it was that his boss hadn't handed out the open enrollment packets and we did not know that they aren't going to be offering the medical plan that we have right now for this year, so the whole yard had no health insurance because everyone was on the same plan and the packets hadn't been handed out. So sometime this week we get to sit down and chose a new insurance plan and pray that it's not too expensive and that our current doctor's accept it. While still hoping that Kevin gets the job through the city, because their insurance is even better.

Anyhow I should work on my house, depression has not been good to it, everywhere there is messes, and Kevin's off work cause they're having a slow week and so it's even harder to get into the groove and get the work done around the house that needs to be done.

Not much to say.

She's Gone.

During Sacrament Meeting Mindy's husband Ben called and said that he had decided, as more measures were being needed to keep Mindy on life support, that the time had come, and so Mindy was to be taken off life support as soon as Ben got off the phone. There hasn't been much more word from her family, and we're all leaving them to be right now, so I'm sure later tonight or tomorrow we'll hear more. Tonight we all are just grieving.

When I got to the church today I walked in the door closest to the Relief Society room and I glanced in and the 4 chairs we, as a presidency, sat in were empty and it just made me think of serving with Mindy when she was our Relief Society President. Several of the ladies in RS came up and hugged me and we all talked about Mindy for a bit, then I headed off to Primary. Primary was a sad place too, Mindy's sister-in-law is teaching Jakey's class this year and she was there and doing her best, she is a trooper she went ahead and taught the class. When RS ended everyone of the ladies that came out was bawling and we all stood in the hallway hugging and crying. When we got into Sacrament Meeting there were only quiet hugs, no talking, no visiting...it was really quiet. The bishop kept his comments brief, just that this was a "difficult time" for the Keller family - since our children were all present. Every prayer offered was for peace for the family. The talks were about temples and families which was comforting. Then during the last talk, Mark's cellphone rang and everyone watched him walk out in the hall. No one ever takes cell calls during Sacrament, but everyone knew what it was. He came back in crying and I don't think the speaker even really wanted to go on. When Sacrament was over everyone hugged and cried and then left as quickly as possible so the children wouldn't see everyone so upset.

Our ward is really small, I'm not sure how we even get to be a ward, rather than a branch, but we are a ward. It's the most tight-knit ward I've ever been in. We're truly family. Every sister in Relief Society is MY sister, no matter her age. So, I guess that would explain why, every one of us in our ward feels like we lost our sister. Mindy has the easy part, it's going to be fine for her, she's with her Father again....the rest of us have to go on. Right after Denny died I heard a song on the radio, actually as i got in the car after the graveside service, "God Only Cries For The Living"...isn't that the truth?

Saturday, January 13, 2007

The coma has deepened and Mindy is on life support, some of her family is really struggling with this and doing the right thing for Mindy. Her husband is very peaceful about the situation and knows what Mindy would want, he's giving time to those who haven't found that peace yet but hopes they find it soon because things can't go on like this. He's begun funeral arrangements, likely they'll be on Wednesday.

I feel so bad for their family, all I can do is pray and fast for them and for peace for them. I know I'm not her family but everytime I think of it I am instantly calmed, I know Mindy is going to be alright, I hope they find that same peace.

Friday, January 12, 2007

My friend....

Is in a coma, her family is asking our ward to pray for understanding and peace for them and that the Lord's will for Mindy will be done.

This is teaching me some very important things, take pictures with your friends - lots of pictures, they will be important to you. Always tell your friends/family how much they mean to you, you never know when you'll get that chance again.

It's supposed to snow....

.....in BAKERSFIELD, for the first time in 8 years. I'll believe it when I see it, and I think they are "over advertising" it a bit much cause last time it snowed they said it's just going to rain and I think they were baffled thinking it really could snow, but really it never rains when it's 27 degrees, it SNOWS when it's 27 degrees.

Anyhow, the very fantastic news about this is that last time it snowed - I had a baby 10 months (40 weeks, darn overdue baby!) later that could only have been conceived on that snow day....since we've been trying for the elusive #3 we have joked that when it "snows in Bakersfield" we'll get pg and have a baby 10 months later again, so remember, everything crossed, snow in Bakersfield=hell freezing over, I might get pregnant!

I'll let ya know if it happens! (snow or pregnancy)

***oh and scientifically it IS possible, the OPK is *almost* positive today, tomorrow's will hopefully be ALL THE WAY positive!

3 Months to live

That's her actual prognosis. It's some rare form of brain cancer, a real mouthful of a disease, I can't remember it exactly. Wow.

She has three young children, 5, 3 and 9 months old. She is young, her birthday is in a few days and she'll be 31.

When they lived here we always joked that they had such a "charmed" life. They both (she and her husband) grew up in member households, went to BYU, served missions, he became a school teacher, they moved to Bakersfield at just the right time to buy into the housing market here and when they sold their Bakersfield home to move to Utah to be closer to family they made $200,000 profit, that they were using to build their "dream home" in Utah. The only real pain that she ever talked about was a miscarriage she had before getting pregnant with her oldest daughter, other than that, life was gravy for them. Wow. And they're both spiritual giants, the kind of people who could give impromptu talks off the top of their heads. When my visiting teaching companion couldn't go with me, Mindy did, and she would make the most thought provoking comments at the appropraite times during the conversation. Every Monday we would go for long walks for a few hours through our neighborhood, these were where I learned the most about her, Mindy is the best listener! She has infinite patience too. Serving as the secretary to her as the Relief Society President showed me alot of her spiritual strength. RS Pres is a HARD calling, she handled it with grace. Since Mindy lived 2 blocks over from me we'd carpool to alot of activities, enrichment and stuff like that. In the car her daughters would have something to say and Mindy NEVER snapped, she always looks at them and says "Yes?" and listens patiently to whatever her children have to say before finishing her own conversations. She teaches them so well, her younger daughter is Justin's age, older only by a few months, and WAYYYYY before Justin understood the Brother _______/Sister _________ designation, Claire was saying, "Sister Parnell?" We did a little music group for our kids, I got the opportunity to co-teach with her, she is creative and fun and gets the kids attention like no one else can! When we moved into the ward she sat with me, brought me into the circle at every meeting, made sure I knew about park days, playgroups, music groups, and exercised. She's always up for a walk, she's such a fit person.

So, I'm sitting here thinking of what I should write to her and tell her and say to her and I think my answer is most of the above, with more, indepth, personal things between her and I during our friendship. In one way I'm sure she's glad that she gets to hear everything everyone feels, and she gets to tell them how she feels too. I mean I'm sad that she's going through this, and I imagine that it's not even 1% of the pain her family is feeling, not even close. I hope I find a way to tell her what her friendship has meant to me, and how much I appreciate everything she's taught me, and of course, that I'm praying for her.

While blogging about lame topics like wart removal, going about my daily mundane life, my friend found out that her brain cancer is the worst case scenario. I don't even know words in the English language to express how I feel. For her, I cannot imagine, she is one of the most faithful people I know, so I just pray for even more faith for her - for her understanding of why this is her trial and hope to help her get through it. For her family, even more faith, to carry her through this.

I can't imagine, if this were my situation, it's absolutely devestating, her poor children they're very young. SHE'S very young. I guess because I'm not there I have a hard time picturing her not being the picture of health I remember her as. She's always been SO HEALTHY. Before she moved I remember telling her what's going on with me and never once did she mention the headaches she started having after the baby, before her move, never once did she complain, mention it, nothing.

I guess she's not going to have surgery, the risks are too high that it would permanently impair her, so she's going with chemo only. I need to do something, she's not really up for phone conversations, so what exactly is the correct thing to do in this situation? I don't want any letters I send her to say the wrong thing, I want to say the right thing and i have no idea what that is, I'm sorry doesn't seem to cut it and there is no understanding what she's going through, all I can think to say is that I'm praying for her - because that's all I can do.

Wart Removal

Justin has an icky wart. On his hand, like the palm of it, up near the top by his ring finger....gross. The dr says it's better not to remove them in kids Justin's age because it's painful and could get infected by him not taking care of it properly or getting it too dirty, etc. So we decided not to have it removed. Poor kid, it is still yucky. The dr did say we could put masking tape (a small circle of it) over the wart and it should go away within 3 weeks instead of the usual year that warts are there if not treated.

A whole blog about warts....how boring! LOL Be back tomorrow, more creative!

Over the moon!

I'm SO EXCITED! In December during a particularly hard time of Kevin being gone for 12 days straight, I applied online for a job for him with the city we live in. Today, the Human Resources Manager called!!! He needs Kevin's DMV printout faxed in and then next week he should interview Kevin for the position. Kevin is working in AZ this week so fortunately the DMV is going to let me get his print out, I have an appt tomorrow at 10:30 to pick it up and then fax it in to the HR for the city. I SOOOOOOOOO hope that he gets this! The pay is slightly less but I expect between paying less for health insurance and not having weeks of no work here and there, he'll be making just about the same when you average it out over the year. Plus no more overtime, no more 80 hour weeks! He'll probably still work some, but it'll be reasonable, like in the 10-15 extra hours per week instead of 40 extra. Most importantly - HE'LL BE WORKING WITHIN CITY LIMITS! Duh, working for the city, no more traveling!!!!! Yay!!!!

So KEEP EVERYTHING CROSSED!
In June, a good friend from my ward, moved to Utah. When they moved, everything went wrong that could go wrong. The architect for the "dream house" they were building with the proceeds of selling their CA home, screwed them and they had to start all over with a new builder/architect just as they were moving, they were even supposed to be moving into their already built house because they had started it a year before they expected to move, they ended up moving into her parents house. Everyone said to them, "it seems like so much is going wrong, why move?" and they said, "we've prayed about it, we are supposed to move, we have to go."

By August my friend was complaining of constant migraines that started right after the birth of their 3rd child in April 2006, but had progressively gotten worse. The migraines were now affecting her caring for her children and her mother was taking care of them alot of the time. She went to the dr and found out that, apparently in natural childbirth, when you push the baby out, your brain moves down in your skull a bit. For most people it's totally fine, because their skull is large enough to accomodate their brains. Not in her's, she has a larger brain than most so it didn't really fit in her skull and the pushing had caused it to slide down and now there was insane amounts of pressure on her brain stem causing tons of migraines. In September she had surgery to replace a part of her skull so that her brain would "fit". They had to cut all the tendons in her neck/shoulder area, etc. to do this particular brain surgery.

After the surgery her recovery was difficult, she refused to take the pain meds cause she wanted to continue to nurse. I'm not really sure what else went on because she really withdrew, from her family I hear she didn't want visitors, which makes sense to me because she's such a private person, she listens to everyone else's problems, and never says a word about her own.

A few months later they found that she has tumors in her brain. They've been biopsied and they're still waiting for the results, or at least they were when a mutual friend stopped to visit her in the hospital in UT. If it's one type of cancer it's treated with chemo and has good success rates, if it's another then it has really bad mortality rates, because it has to be removed which could brain-damage my friend. Her short term memory is compromised, she doesn't remember moving to UT most of the time, or how old her baby is. Her speech is difficult, from the pressure of the tumors. She's lost a ton of weight, she was 125 and now she's 95 lbs and very tall. She's been in the hospital for a few weeks.

I just feel so bad! She's the healthiest person I know! She never let fast food touch her lips, she was always snacking on veggies and fruits, exercising, taking really good care of her body. She's a former ballerina, so graceful. She has an amazing testimony, I remember visit teaching with her and just enjoying her insights on the gospel. I need to send her a card, a letter, something. She's started allowing people "in", realizing this fight is going to take a while.

Makes me think that my body really hasn't been that bad to me. And I sure hope she recovers! And wow, what a testimony to following your promptings no matter what! Thank goodness she's surrounded by her family at this time!

Obligatory New Year's Resolutions Post

I had to do it, everyone else is, so you knew it was coming.

Dawn's Resolutions for 2007:

BE MORE ORGANIZED! I am so frzzled and confused all the time, I can't find anything cause I "cleaned" it to some spot that was a wonderful idea I'm sure when I first thought to put said "thing" there but now I need it and I can't find it! Argh, I'm annoying myself, and I have been for 25 years, so it's time to get this under control!

READ SCRIPTURES DAILY! I REALLY need to make this a bigger priority, I miss wayyyyyy too often and I want to incorporate it into our homeschooling opening exercises.

MORE PRAYER! You can never pray enough.

LOSE WEIGHT, this is the resolution I secretly hope I have not achieved by the end of the year. I hope to be pregnant, therefore having gained weight by this time in 2008.

If putting it on a list would make it happen, I'd add it - get pregnant, but it won't, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens there, the Clomid is being taken, everything I'm supposed to do I'm doing, so we just have to wait and see, I have a beta on Feb 5th cause I have a dr's appt on the 6th. In good news I should be ovulating next weekend - and next weekend there is the possibility of SNOW in Bakersfield - 8 years ago, in late January, we conceived a baby during a rare snow storm, maybe it'll happen again?

2007 - May I achieve, MOST of my goals!

Photo Post

I don't have much to say today, besides a run down of what I'm going to do which is all-in-all very boring...so, I'm gracing you with some pictures of my sweeties!

The county fair, Justin loved it but he was a little afraid of the rides and stuff...Jakey was more daring than he had ever been, because he had an 11 year old friend with him LOL.

Totally Random Post

So, yesterday I started a diet. I didn't want to say "Oh I'm going to start a diet", until I did one day of it successfully. It's not a "real" diet, it's more of a watching-what-you-eat type thing and remember-to-exercise as well. I just want to lose 15 lbs by my dr's appt on 2/6/07...I think I can do it too, so we shall see. Last night I did get hungry later, so I had a small salad and it made me feel better and not deprived, and heck it was SALAD, there is no guilt there!

Kevin's coming home today, this week was a little shorter for his out of town time, so it's nice to have him coming back so quickly. He'll be home by 2 or 3 this afternoon, I hope someone can bring him home because I hate driving all the way out to his work!

And in boys' news I have this to share:

See how cute they CAN be:

Hank

Hank is Justin's new baby boy doll that goes potty on the toilet. He really eats and pees, Hank, is driving me INSANE. Last night Justin told me at 9:00 pm that Hank could not get to sleep cause Justin had misplaced Hank's pacifier and Hank wanted it. Finally around 10 Hank and his Daddy fell asleep without the pacifier. Right now, Justin's got Hank standing in a corner for having an accident, Justin started feeding him without having Hank's little potty near by so Justin thinks Hank had an accident, really Justin didn't get him to the potty in time, but I guess this is Justin's child to raise...LOL

Kevin's upset I bought his son a baby doll, I told him Dr. Phil said this was a good way to potty train, I think Dr. Phil might be full of it, Hank's a pain in the butt, now I have TWO incontinent babies!

Good News!

No, I'm not pregnant, everyone always says that when I say "Good News!", in fact I couldn't be any less pregnant if I tried, since the new year brought me the opportunity to try yet again to become pregnant, yay me ...anyhow, back to the Good News!

I found the cord for my camera! I know, everyone's just been dying to see pics of my kiddos huh? And I haven't been able to share! But miraculously Justin's FP3 player (Fisher Price MP3 player), the cord to it fits my camera! Can you believe it?! So we're back from my parents cabin and I have pictures, I'll start slow, just show you some pictures from Thanksgiving to now.

These are from Thanksgiving at my parent's cabin:
