Whew, I'm just massively overwhelmed. I think that I may have left the hospital too early and dealing with life and all that is just too much too soon. I'm doing a bit better this evening but yesterday and this morning I was not dealing well. Plus Jakey and Justin are having some behavior issues since becoming big brothers again. It does seem really hard to go from 2 to 3 kids!

Anyhow I'm heading to bed, I'll update more tomorrow, Jayden has a pediatrician appointment tomorrow so I'll let y'all know how that goes and update more tomorrow...in the meantime, yesterday in my being overwhelmed my mom came over and watched all 3 kids while Kevin went and got dinner and I took a shower and she and the boys bathed Jayden together and got her all ready for bed, so this is what happens to the long-awaited granddaughter when grandma gets a hold of her to get her ready for bed....LOL

Pretty Baby Girl!

Jayden with my doctor.

Pretty girl has a TON of hair!

My two birthday babies!
Jayden's here! She really wanted to make it for her brother's b-day so now I have two children born on the exact same day - 8 years apart! LOL

We went to the hospital on Saturday evening because I was starting to scare the boys trying to get through contractions and when we got there they hooked me up and I was having regular contractions, my doctor said to watch me for an hour while he tried to see if his wife would get out of a delivery in time to assist in my c/s (she's an OB as well). Then the pain intensified so much my nurse totally stuck up for me and told him to just get ready, and so I was prepped for my c/s...I have never been so happy to see someone in my life as I was the anesthesologist!!! I could have kissed the guy! Once I got my spinal done I was good to go, Jayden was born at 12:37 am on the 28th (just barely on her brother's b-day! LOL) She was 7 lbs 13 oz and 19 3/4 inches long. She has a FULL head of hair! Her apgars were 9 and 9, she's perfect!

We're home already too! I'll post pics in a bit, my bigger kids are coming home in a few.

I don't feel so hot, had spicy soup at Olive Garden tonight, and just feel blah, but feeling better cold-wise...anyhow I added Kara as a contributor on my blog, she's going to get an email from Kevin when the baby comes and she'll post on my blog when Jayden's here, so whenever that time comes, you'll all know :)

I'm fine for tonight though, just upset tummy, so I'll post more tomorrow!

What a great day it's been so far today!

Jakey went to school so I decided to go ahead and tackle his room, finally! Took SIX bags of trash, broken toys, stained/ruined clothes, etc. out of there! It looks soooooo much better in there!

Justin's been awesome all day! He's fiddled quietly with a few toys on his bed but stopped to pick up something I couldn't reach on the floor now and then and taking out the bags of trash with me.

Kevin PROMISES he's going to get off work by 5:00 NO LATER today. We'll see if that happens but I suspect it will because if I feel better I'd like to go to Leadership Training at the church tonight...but I'll decide that after a nap...and if I can find a skirt that fits me! LOL

A good friend is bringing over dinner. This friend is just amazing, she's called me every day this week, made sure I didn't need anything, offered help, etc. She has 4 kids 6 and under and her husband works alot of hours like mine does. Plus with all the SoCal fires she has some family that was affected and just yesterday had FOURTEEN children and SIX adults in her house! And SHE'S making ME dinner...amazing! And it's something I'll probably be able to eat - Chili - because it's nice and mushy and not so hard to chew.

My visiting teacher - yesterday she went and got me the cough suppressant that I needed, if I had waited for Kevin it would have been HOURS before I got it, she just went out and bought it and brought it to me. Awesome!

The bishop - he's actually coming to our house to interview Jakey unless I decide I'm well enough to go to the church tonight because I've just been SO SICK the past week. Jakey's a bit nervous about his interview but we keep telling him it'll be ok. Kevin's getting more and more anxious about the baptism just because he's never done one before, so hopefully he'll start to feel more comfortable. He's excited, just nervous.

Anyhow, loads of good things today. And the next best thing about today - Kevin brought me home Kentucky Fried Chicken mashed potatoes and gravy - YUM. He brought me two huge orders so I have some I can have for lunch today - which I'm aboutto go eat! Yay!

The contractions petered out after I got the cough medicine in me...still have some cramping but I think the baby is going to give me enough time to get well, hopefully anyways. LOL

Now to scare you all....LOL This is what 3 kids does to your body - it's not a pretty sight!!

Update:

The doctor said take Vicks 44 and if by the time it's time for a second dose the contractions haven't let up then go to L&D to get checked (6 hours). He thinks the coughing might be irritating my uterus because the contractions should have progressed by now, it's been almost 24 hours since the cramping started, so I should have gotten SOMEWHERE by now. If I go and there's no cervical change but the Vicks isn't helping then we'll talk prescription strength cough syrup.

Please let the Vicks work, I'm too sick to have a baby!

Can't decide what to do

Yesterday afternoon I started having really bad back cramping, like so intense it woke me from a nap. It was getting awful so I went ahead and when Kevin came home we sent the boys to his mom's house and then went to Walmart to grab a few things and then came home. By 10 PM the back cramping had become regular, timeable contractions about 8-10 minutes apart. I fell asleep because they weren't too strong, but woke up at 3 AM because I couldn't sleep through them anymore. I sat up in the recliner dozing between them since 3 AM and they're getting progressively more intense.

Here's the thing, I have a horrible cough, my head is stuffy, the TMJ still prevents me from eating much because it hurts to chew, and I'm almost done with the antibiotics for strep throat (which I'm not sure I had, but whatever.) I mean by horrible cough, that I have taken two showers this morning because coughing has made me pee my pants - no it's not my water - it was pee. The showers no longer make my contractions feel better, they make me feel worse. I'm WAYYYYYY too sick to have a baby!

So how long should I stay home? I don't think I'm making any cervical change, but I'm already dialated to 4 so they'd probably keep me. Or should I hope the contractions go away so I can hack up my lungs in peace for a few more days? Should I stay home longer and see if this is going to happen?

Ouch, the coughing hurts.

Ok I'm annoyed. LOL I'm watching Days and Sami is having her babies. Now granted it's twins and IRL they probably would have been born long before now, but she found out she was pregnant (on the show) the same time I did. So dang it, she's having her babies before me! LOL

I went to the doctor today and he said that the best bet is to go see the dentist and get a mouth guard so I quit grinding my teeth at night, that he has the same problems and he was pretty sure that's what it was when I called yesterday but wanted me to get checked out just to be sure. He offered me Vicoden but warned me about taking it because it can further mess up my tummy that is yucky from the two antibiotics I'm on right now and the fact I can't eat real food. So far I've just been taking Tylenol and while it definately doesn't make me feel "all better" I don't think I'm going to die anymore either.

I slept like a ROCK last night too! All those meds and I fell asleep at 9:30 and didn't wake up until 3:30 and I thought my bladder was going to explode! LOL But it was probably the best nights sleep I've had in forever. Plus, you know how when you tell someone that a part of you is hurting and they threaten to stomp on say your foot cause "then it won't hurt" (because you'll be focused on another pain? Well I think the same rule applies here, I don't really feel the aches and pains of pregnancy cause I'm too worried about my jaw! LOL

Anyhow another cervix check, I'm making some good progress...she is RIGHT THERE. He said we'd talk on Tuesday about maybe moving up my c/s date...we'll see.

Update real quick then I'm taking Tylenol PM and going to bed!

I called my dr when he opened and his general practice physician's assistant isn't in the office on Mondays and he was in surgery, so finally he called back and said he didn't feel comfortable treating me for my jaw. So I called the number that my maternity insurance assigned me to for primary care - they said oh sure, come on in. So I go there and OH MY GOODNESS. I wouldn't let my DOG be seen there. I seriously started bawling when she told me that I was too far along to be seen - I was SO happy! That's a free pass to Urgent Care! Never thought I'd be so happy to go to urgent care in my life! So I went and the Urgent Care center didn't open til 11:00 so they were going to put me through the Emergency Room, but not too long after I was triaged they opened and I was sent the UC.

I had a really great nurse (actually 2) and doctor that were totally open to working with my OB and comfortable treating me. I was severely dehydrated so I spent the entire day there (11 am - 5 pm) getting bag after bag of IV fluids. I have TMJ. I'd provide a link but I'm exhausted - basically it's a stress related condition. Anyhow I got demerol and valium and for a while there I didn't care that I hurt, but I still hurt...it was the mos they could do for me. Luckily the valium did help me to be able to open my mouth wide enough to get soft food in. My OB was closed by the time they were ready to discharge me so tomorrow he'll prescribe me some vicoden or something to help until I can get through this. There's "natural" cures like massage that could help - so I might see the massage therapist tomorrow in my doctor's office, or just controlling the pain and alternating heat and ice, and even better - NOT BEING SO STRESSED. LOL Yeah, right.

Anyhow, after I left that scary doctor's office and was headed to Urgent Care I called Kevin and told him that he had to come to UC with me, I was bawling hysterically from the pain and the frustration of the whole situation and he came and was actually pretty good. We bought Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader on his cellphone and challenged each other to that. Yeah, I was so drugged up - I wasn't smarter than a Kindergartener LOL! But it was nice to have him there with me. Of course he and the boys are now enjoying wonderfully yummy dinner while I just had broth..LOL

Anyhow, off to bed with me, thanks for all the well wishes and thoughts.
An hour and a half til the dr's office opens! Oh man, yesterday my jaw got even more painful - it's like I was hit with a shovel on half my face, it goes up all the way behind my eye and down my shoulder but my jaw is the main "focus" of the pain. But last night I couldn't open my mouth all the way and Tylenol has not been cutting it AT ALL. I'm going to the dr's first thing at 8:00 AM, there is something REALLY WRONG with my jaw and it is NOT strep throat. I'm totally freaked out by it, but more scared to have a general type dr treat me again, I really want my OB to know and see what's going on because I don't want anything to happen to the baby, he has a physician's assistant whose area is "general practice" so hopefully we can figure something out between the two of them. I am in an insane amount of pain...eating is NOT a possibility.

I'm SO SICK. I just got back from Urgent Care, I have strep throat and an ear infection. Last night I woke up and my throat was so swollen it scared me, but I could breathe through my nose so I just focused on doing that instead of through my mouth but I couldn't get pills or food down my throat. The doctor told me to mix 1 tsp Benadryl with 1 tsp Maalox and coat my throat and then eat and take medicines...and it really does help. I just ate some breakfast and Kevin's making my favorite homemade soup for me to have the rest of the day, so I feel a bit better having eaten. Plus coughing and sneezing - I'm SO glad that I'm not in labor - I couldn't take the pain of the c-section with this cold. Gotta get better! I started my Z-pack just now, hopefully it clears this right up!

Saturday, October 20, 2007

Last night I went out to dinner with my mom. Originally, Kevin's mom was going to babysit the boys so I could just go with my mom because we were going to look at some Christmas presents for the boys. Well Justin asked several times if he could stay with me, and since today he has to go to Kevin's mom's no matter what because I'm going to a church RS activity from 9-1 and then out to dinner with Kevin and friends tonight, I decided to go ahead and take him and just let Jakey stay with Kevin's mom. Jakey has no interest in going out to eat with me and my mom. LOL

Anyhow, so we went to Red Robin and had dinner and then went over to Toys R Us. My mom wanted to get Justin the Fisher-Price Smart Cycle and they had a display model going. So I let Justin out of the cart because we wanted to see if this was something that he could do. He hopped on and started playing and did a really good job. A lady came up with her son who was about Justin's age and he was screaming hysterically that HE wanted a turn. It was so distracting to Justin that Justin just gave up before the end of the demo game (which was maybe 3 minutes, seriously the kid could have waited) So my mom was so impressed she went ahead and bought two of them - one for Justin and one for Erica. We were walking around the aisles near there to look at kid-friendly digital cameras for Natalle's birthday tomorrow and we hear that mom tell her son that it's time to move on (the three minute demo game must have been over) and OH BOY, that kid threw an even LOUDER fit then the one he threw when Justin was on the bike! We walked through the store for 30 minutes or so after that, Justin didn't ask for anything and was the model of a well behaved 3 year old (surprisingly) and this other boy screamed hysterically making the trip actually miserable for everyone else in the store. Why do parents do that? I mean I could totally understand at the grocery store - you HAVE to have groceries...but at Toys R Us? You don't HAVE to have toys, especially not for your hysterical 3 year old! Anyhow as we were checking out, by the way we got Natalle this camera in pink, the lady finally left with her screaming son. Thank goodness. And we were so proud of Justin!! What a good boy he was! He didn't even get upset when we put the bikes into my mom's car for her to take home and wrap up for him to get for Christmas. We didn't exactly tell him the bike would be his for Christmas but he didn't act upset at all either. And he REALLY liked the bike! LOL

So cute!

Justin is really "into" drawing pictures of people lately. Since he's three they still look like a circle head, with legs and arms coming off the head, if you're really lucky you get hair. Anyhow so Justin drew me today, he put 6 arms on me and two legs. At first I said, "oh what a nice spider you drew." And Justin said, "That's not a spider, Mom! It's you, but better - I drew you with 3 sets of arms, 1 for you to hug me, 1 set for you to hug Jakey, and another set for you to hug Jayden." I wish we could make those kinds of upgrades! LOL
Yesterday I had a bunch of contractions, and Kevin was getting a little nervous but I told him it'd probably fizzle out and be nothing, and sure enough it did. Oh well, it's ok, hopefully it just prepared my body and baby more. :)

Today we're going to the park for our playgroup. Should be fun, it's nice to get out now and then. We took Kevin to work too so that we could keep the car but we don't have many other plans besides going to the park. Kevin's going to take a company truck home tonight so that he can drive himself to work tomorrow morning and then I'll pick him up in the early afternoon. I'll be glad when he gives up these Saturday morning shifts because Saturday mornings were my favorite day of the week - he gets up with the boys and watches Saturday Morning cartoons. I told him when the baby comes he has to stay home on Saturday for a few weeks so that I can lay in bed and just nurse Jayden when necessary. I need sleep! LOL

Anyhow, I better get going, I want to start some laundry and doze for an hour before it's ready to be switched over and then get ready and head to Walmart first...I need my own chair for the park! LOL I'm hoping that camping chairs are on sale.

37 Weeks, FULL TERM!

Ok, someone tell her she can get out now.

I even had a dream last night that my friend called me today and told me that she's pregnant and she had her baby before I did! LOL I told her that on the phone this morning and she said, "no I'm not pregnant, and couldn't possibly deliver before you!" LOL I'm having anxiety now over someone delivering before me...Rachel...keep that baby in!!!! LOL

You all know how the end of pregnancy goes though...so I'll spare you. Except you can laugh a little at my expense - last night I took a shower and I started bawling when the bar of soap dropped to the bottom of the shower. Kevin came running in (big thud scared him) and laughed cause I was sitting there crying because I couldn't bend over to pick it up. LOL I know, I've lost my mind. It'll be back shortly - probably about 3 weeks from Monday! LOL

Jakey's off to school today and so it's just me and Justin - Justin who was NEVER meant to be an only child. He's so bored he's driving me crazy. LOL Luckily he's getting over his fear of playing outside by himself because that was seriously awful. It's kind of cold out there too - sunny but cold! Brrr!! (yep under 70 is cold!)

Today I shall conquer the laundry - I WILL get all of our laundry done, folded/hung, and put away TODAY. And have NO MORE LAUNDRY TO DO, until the boys take a shower tonight that is...LOL That and scrubbing the bathroom are my goals for today. We'll see if it all gets done. :)

Wednesday, October 17, 2007

So I get up at 6:30 AM to take Kevin to work, get there, drop him off, come home, and at 8:00 AM he calls and says, "can you come get me? I'm sick." So I went back and got him. He has pink eye - AGAIN. And the weird thing is he's been asleep ALL DAY. Literally since 8 AM he's been asleep on the couch. He got up once to bring in some groceries from the car for me, but wouldn't even put them away because he was "too tired." He better feel better by tomorrow! LOL

I did leave Jakey here with him when I took Justin to Cherubs. That was an adventure, there is an entirely new batch of kids there and they were ROWDY! The opening exercises were in the Relief Society room of a building that I've never been in before and then we moved into the Cultural Hall. It was nice, the kids all had fun, but Justin turned all shy on me! Everyone kept commenting on how shy he was and that is SO not him! My friend that knows him pretty well was even surprised because quiet is definitely not Justin! LOL Then I take him out to the car and buckle him into his seatbelt and he says, "That was fun! I want to go again next week!" And I'm thinking, you didn't even do anything! LOL

I got lots of comments on my belly size today. Yay. LOL Tomorrow I will be 37 weeks, there's a full moon next Friday, maybe that'll send me into labor? I can dream, can't I???? LOL
I found my charger at Amazon for $8!!!!!! And I have an Amazon gift card for $15! Yay for me!!! That solves that problem!

Tuesday, October 16, 2007

Tomorrow is another one of those Get-Up-And-Take-Kevin-To-Work-At-6:30-AM days. Argh. But oh well, it's better then not having the car. Plus getting to sleep in every other day is nice.

Tomorrow we're going to Cherubs again. Remember that I used to take Justin way back when before Jakey was homeschooled? Well another huge reason why I stopped was that the curriculum was written by my friend Mindy who passed away earlier this year...Cherubs really reminds me of her. Anyhow, Justin has GOT to spend some time interacting with kids his own age and not just Jakey. Jakey has GOT to learn to do some independent work, so while he will be going with us, he will be sitting off to the side doing some work in a workbook while we're there because he needs to learn to work independently a bit. And he has no real need to sing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" at his age. LOL He'd overtake the younger kids activity, so he can't really participate.

Anyhow after that I need to hit the grocery store for a few things that I didn't get the other day and then come home and nap! I'm so tired already and I haven't even gone to bed for the night...but I'm sure I'll need a nap. I needed one today but the boys didn't really settle so I could take one. And then MIL showed up to move her broken down car out of my garage so I could put my own car in the garage. After we got our car into the garage I asked Jakey if he could open and close the garage door - no automatic opener - and sure enough, he can, with very little effort. So yay for that, I have an automatic garage door opener, as long as Jakey is with me! LOL Kev said I couldn't drive after my c/s until I could open and close the garage door without pain - ha on him! LOL

We also moved the Air Freshener so Jakey wouldn't be afraid of it in the middle of the night...LOL Hopefully we'll all get a good night's sleep since we have to get up so early tomorrow morning. Speaking of which I think I'm going to go to bed early tonight, later!

Nesting

I'm not really a nester. I would like certain things done before the baby comes, but I don't have the energy to do them. Until today. Today it became insanely important for the living room furniture to be rearranged and dusted and vacuumed. THe kitchen to be scrubbed spotless and the floor mopped on my hands and knees. Laundry to be COMPLETELY done and put away (usually where I struggle) and for the boys' room to be completely gone through - toys thrown out and clothes that don't fit/are the wrong season put away.

Kevin's mad that I moved furniture, but in my defense, we have tile, I slid furniture, like two feet, it wasn't that much. And what's it going to do? Send me into labor? Oh no. LOL
We had an interesting night last night. I got up to go to the bathroom around 4 AM and then was laying in bed trying to get back to sleep (and comfortable) when I heard what sounded like my dog being murdered downstairs. I swear the scream/screech sounded non-human like an animal in pain. So Kevin jumped out of bed (I don't move that quickly these days) and ran downstairs. After a few minutes the dog came running into our bedroom and I heard Kevin laughing hysterically downstairs. A few minutes after that Jakey comes into our room crying hysterically but laughing between sobs.

I asked Jakey what had happened and he (through sobs and laughter) told me, "The spray thingy scared me so I screamed." Kevin came in the room and I was like what in the world. Well we have these Air Wick Room Sprays that spray every 9, 18, or 36 minutes and one is in the laundry closet right across from Jakey's room. And to be honest they are loud and I jump sometimes when they spray because I don't expect the noise, LOL. I guess it sprayed and it also has a blinking light and so he saw a green eyed monster, hissing at him, in the night. LOL We all started giggling a little about this, and Kevin was saying he also had the dog on his bed and was holding her for dear life when he came down there. Jakey said, "you all think I scream like a girl now." and I said, "a girl dog, I thought Buddy was hurt!" LOL And we were all laughing so hard at 4 AM it was hard to go back to sleep! LOL

Monday, October 15, 2007

I hate having to get up so early to take Kevin to work, but it does help me to actually get moving in the morning and not just sit around. Anyhow, this morning I let Kevin drive so I could wake up a little more on the drive to his work. We get there and I look at the gas gauge and of course - I have to go get gas as there is no way I could make it home - I'm amazed we made it to his work. He works near the Oilfields so 6:30 in the morning at a gas station is AWFUL down there....there are TRUCKLOADS of guys going to work that need gas and other things from the store, it took forever to get my gas! And gas is on the rise again - $40 into the tank! And I got the pleasure of standing in the gas station in my pajamas with 40 men at 6:30 in the morning. Yay.

Anyhow, the bad thing is also that we have to wake the boys early to take Kevin to work. So that means they're up at 6:15 in the morning. Ugh. LOL They fight alot in the car on the way there and back because they're super tired. Today Jakey decided to say his two best friend's names over and over and over and over and over, even though I asked him to stop and Justin asked him to stop. Finally, about 5 minutes from home, Justin couldn't take it anymore and hauled off and punched Jakey in the mouth for not stopping. Of course that led to a full on fist fight in the backseat. Then when I sent them to bed for fistfighting in the car, Jakey yelled at me "no" he would not go to his room. So he's in there even longer. What stinker kids.

In the car the radio was talking about the 10 worst songs ever and I was surprised and NOT surprised by some of them. LOL The worst song ever was "Ice, Ice, Baby" um yeah that I agree with, there were others like "Achey Breaky Heart" and so on, but I was SHOCKED that "Baby Got Back" was NOT on the list! How did Sir Mix A-lot not make the cut and "Everybody Wang Chung Tonight" did???? What do you think is the Worst Song Ever? I'm torn between "Baby Got Back" and "The Thong Song", maybe even "The Macarena".

Anyhow I have a massive TO-DO list for today - I must go pay some bills, go grocery shopping, clean the house up, and we have to clean out the garage to house our car so the HOA doesn't tow it. Then after dark tonight I'd like to go to the pumpkin patch and get some pumpkins for FHE.

That reminds me (wanting to take pictures at the pumpkin patch that is) my camera battery charger got lost in the move, so I went to order one - $79.99 for a new CHARGER for my Canon. Now my Canon is about 3 years old, and it's an "ok" camera but just "ok" not super fabulous or anything. So for $80 should I couple that with a few more bucks and buy a new camera (not super fabulous, I can't afford super fabulous, think memory-capturer LOL) or should I order the $80 charger for my trusty old camera? What would you do? I must decide soon because I NEED a camera for when Jayden comes.

Anyhow, have a fabulous Monday!

Sunday, October 14, 2007

Yesterday at the LDS Bookstore in our town I bought Jakey's scriptures and bag for his Baptism gift and also a book about preparing for baptism with lots of fun activities to do (crosswords, word searches, dot to dots, etc.) Anyhow, tonight we cracked the book and did some of the pages out of it and talked alot about Testimonies (since today was fast and testimony meeting). At first when I asked him about his testimony he gave me generic testimony stuff and then we got deeper into it, WHAT does he believe and WHY does he believe it. And I asked him if he'd ever felt the Holy Ghost and he said, "I felt Him today, Sister Lemke (our music lady who wears lots of calling hats - ward choir director, seminary teacher, enrichment group leader - she teaches our Book of Mormon study group) was talking about General Conference and how we had an Apostle sustained to the General Presidency - his name was President Eyring (he pointed to his eye, then CTR ring like she had to teach them his name) and a new Apostle was called so there would be 12, his name is Elder Cook. When she talked about them I felt good and knew she was telling me the truth and that they are Apostles." That impressed me!

Then we talked about the actual baptism and he and Kevin talked about the prayer (Kevin is learning it, he's never baptized anyone before) and asked him if he is nervous and Jakey says a little, he knows he needs to be baptized and wants to be baptized he's just a little nervous about the water being cold (our building is notorious for COLD baptisms! LOL) and about having so many people watch in case he doesn't get all under the first time. And Kevin admitted he's a little nervous about not messing up the prayer and holding Jakey's hands correctly and getting him all under the first time and having so many people watching. So it was good for them I think, I don't really know what to do for them though, LOL, it's kind of something they're going to have to learn and work out for themselves.
No, square dancing will NOT make you go into labor.

Just thought I'd let you all know. LOL

We had our annual ward Barn Dance last night, it was a great time. But even the trickiest movies in a square dance taught to us by the caller did not send me into labor. I think Jayden's burrowed in and decided not to come out until forcibly evicted. Oh well, I'm not at the end of my rope - YET. Leaving church I felt closer to it today, but I'm ok really. (For a church who has so many pregnant women, you'd think those pews would be more comfortable!)

There was a baby blessed in Sacrament Meeting today - so sweet! Kevin was listening extra hard to the blessing. LOL

I finally figured out how to get the Young Men to stop asking Kevin to help pass the Sacrament. Now here's the thing, I usually don't mind - I feel blessed to have a husband with the Priesthood. But. I am so huge, and Justin just goes nuts when he goes up there to pass the Sacrament, and they ask Kevin and not the 3 newly married men who have no children yet sitting with their wives and NO children right behind us - what's up with that? So, I took away Kevin's ties. Yep - no tie wearing privledges for him until I have the baby and heal up...then he can go back to helping them, in the meantime, I need him keeping Justin in our pew! (If there was ever a true shortage of Priesthood - I put a spare in the car, also for him to use when he goes out Home Teaching...LOL)

Anyhow, now it's time for my favorite Sunday ritual - NAPTIME! Yay!

Saturday, October 13, 2007

The park was awesome yesterday. It was nice and cool - high 60's...and then it held off raining until we were packing up to leave! Kevin was supposed to take a long lunch and go get his hair cut with the boys but he couldn't get away from the office so I took the boys to the barber. A barber shop, 9 months pregnant, is not a place for a lady to be! Sooooooo many comments about my belly. At least none of the men touched me and had I been in a beauty shop I'm sure someone would have. LOL Kevin ended up never being able to get away from the office and worked 19 hours yesterday. Those days are killing me.

Then this morning he hopped out of bed (after receiving 10 phone calls between 1 AM and 8 AM - argh) and went and got us donuts and milk and then went BACK to work. Ugh. I know, I know, this shall pass. I'm just scared that I'm going to be sitting here one night with a screaming unconsolable baby and NO ONE to help me! The boys I can handle, I'm terrified of him working 80 hour weeks when Jayden's here!

Anyhow, Kevin's mom is trading me her 11 year old daughter for my almost-8 year old son (the whiner!) so that she can help me with Justin while my mom and I shop for a suit for Jakey for his baptism (He's outgrowing his size 10 suit, can you believe that!) and we're buying his scriptures and stuff like that, and maybe some birthday presents. And we're going out to eat! Yay for that! Anyhow, should be a fun day. I bet when I get there though Justin will refuse to go with me because Jakey is staying and so she'll end up keeping them both. LOL

Now onto the subject of Homeowner's Associations. Ugh. I don't really recommend them. We got cited today - I'm sure they spent an extra long time looking at our house because the owner isn't paying his dues. But we got cited for having a broken down vehicle in our driveway - their definition, tiny oil spot under our car=broken down car. So if we don't put it in our garage, fix the leak and have proof, or remove the vehicle from the neighborhood by Wednesday then they're going to tow our car! Ugh! And they want the oil spot cleaned up. AND, yesterday was green waste trash can day, so the green waste can was down on the street for pick up. Well when I got home yesterday it was pouring rain and the trash men had left the lid open so the can was filled with rain making it very heavy, so I didn't pull it up. Kevin didn't come home until 1 AM so he forgot about it because he was exhausted, so at 8 AM, less than 24 hours after it was picked up, we got a ticket from the HOA that we were leaving our bins in the front too long. Ugh. AND we also got a citation for those pink bags that the cancer society leaves in your garage door handles so you can donate things to their "garage sale", well we didn't remove our pink bag soon enough (I think they were put in the door handles on Thursday? Anyhow, that is trash apparently, and we're in violation for having trash in our front yard. Seriously. I'm seriously reconsidering the house in this neighborhood we were thinking of renting. Ugh.

TGIPD!

Thank goodness it's PARK DAY! LOL

The boys think I take them for them to have fun and play with their friends...I don't! I take them so that they go off and play while I have fun with MY friends! LOL

Last night was a rough night so we're going to come home from the park early. Kevin's new job has him taking calls in the middle of the night for "emergency runs" and calling drivers to actually take those loads, so he got 5 phone calls between midnight and 5 AM. I was ready to throw him and his phone out the window!

Anyhow, should be fun to go to the park and chat while the boys wear themselves out so that when we come home around noon they're ready for naps so I can get some sleep! They woke up at 5AM with Kevin's last phone call and sat downstairs with Kevin while he took care of the situation and got ready for work until he came to wake me up at 6:20 to take him to work.

Anyhow the boys are hunting down shoes and driving me nuts so I better go locate them. They need to make shoes with a button you can attach to something and go push to "page" the shoes like a cordless phone.

We can't eat anything, play with anything, or wear anything now without lead?

A part of Jakey's cub scout uniform has been recalled. Insane.
Yesterday I had to have Kevin come home to rescue Buddy from the neighbor's yard (behind us). Buddy had gone over there on her chain and gotten wrapped around something and couldn't get back to our side of the fence. And their sprinklers came on and she couldn't move more than one foot so she was stuck getting wet. And this neighbor lives in a completely different housing development from us, and because of the exits/entrances to our neighborhoods it's over a one mile walk to their front door. And they didn't appear to be home.

So, Kevin relays the story of the dog trapped in the sprinklers on the other side of the fence to his coworkers and after they laugh that this actually happened, he came home. He managed to rescue Buddy quickly and block off our side of the fence. Well in the meantime the neighbors little Chihuahua had come to our side of the fence. Justin asked what that was and I said Chihuahua and he runs outside and starts yelling, "Come here Chewbaca, come here Chewbaca!" LOL

So today Chewbaca comes back, but Buddy does NOT go to Chewbaca's side of the fence (finally learning something) and Justin's outside petting Chewbaca and begging for us to keep it. The neighbor stands up over the fence and starts yelling at Justin to give her back her dog. I hear yelling outside and I go out there and ask what she needs and she says, "Your son has my dog, I want him to give him back." I'm like that's fine, but you can't scream at him, what are you thinking? I ask Justin for Chewbaca and hand him to her over the fence. What a brat! She's probably my age or so, and yelling at a 3 year old for petting her dog that came into OUR yard! It's a tall fence, when I saw the dog my options were 1) push the dog back in the tiny hole she came through or 2) throw her over the 9 foot fence - worrying about it didn't seem worth it, they'd eventually come home and get her or she'd eventually go back through her hole herself.

Anyhow, that's my doggy dilemma for the day. LOL
Whew, it's 7 AM and I have a Primary Presidency meeting here at 9 AM and the house is messy. But yes, I must blog before I clean. LOL (Or at least get all the sleep out of my eyes, man am I tired!)

This morning I woke up at 7:00 on the dot and I look down on Kevin's side of the bed and there's two boys laying perfectly still with their eyes open...LOL Guess they got the hint yesterday - DON'T WAKE MOMMY! LOL It's not like I want to sleep until 10 AM, I just want the SUN to wake me up! LOL So they're eating breakfast now so Jakey can get ready for school.

Last night I went out to dinner with my mom, just the two of us, and it helped me relax and unwind alot. My food wasn't very good though...LOL And the waitress kept touching my belly. Why do people do that?

I slept fairly well too last night, it wasn't as cold, I found a window that had been left open upstairs and closed it so it was just "normal" temperatures, not freezing like it is outside. This is the strangest time of the year because if you leave your house before 10 AM you need a jacket and pants, but by afternoon shorts and t-shirts are fine.

Anyhow, I must clean this morning. Load the dishwasher, vacuum the living room and ship Jakey off to school and get Justin settled with something to watch on TV while I have my meeting. I should get dressed too, maybe even shower! LOL

I'm feeling a bit better now....I was just totally having a meltdown because who knows when Kevin's going to get off today because he's trying to learn all the paperwork for his new position. I'm really proud of him, and want him to do well, but I do miss him being able to tell them "no" a few mornings a week and take a later shift. Oh well, this is life now, and when I cash the first paycheck post-promotion I figure I'll learn to live with it. LOL

Jakey and I really had it out this morning. He is VERY upset about Jayden coming, if I could promise him that she won't come until November 12th, he'd be ok, but since I can't promise that, it's just a strong likelihood at this point, he's very upset. He doesn't care about sharing his birthday with her, he just DOES NOT want to push back his baptism, AT ALL. It upsets him to think that this could happen...my luck it's exactly what will happen. My kids stink like that, LOL. I'm done arguing with him about this, he's supposed to have his interview with the bishop soon and I'm just going to let the Bishop tell him when the next time he could be baptized is if he's not able to be baptized on November 3rd and let it go. Maybe if it comes from someone else, who could care less when the baby comes, he'll chill out. It's not like he's NEVER going to be baptized, I just don't know for 100% that it will be November 3rd, I'm like 99% sure though.

Anyhow, we also agreed that he's on a 10 day probation, if in the next 10 days he doesn't show dramatic improvement in his ability to work independently and not cry about it, at least TRY to figure some of this stuff out, then he's going back to public school. I will just NOT have 5 hours a day to force him to do his work (that's how longi t's been taking with his whining about everything) once Jayden comes. So we're going to have to enroll him in public school if he doesn't get it together.

Anyhow a funny story, so you can help me remember that they're not always little monsters...LOL

Last night with dinner I let them have a treat - rootbeer with their dinner! Soda is so rare for them they get the burps when they drink it.

So, we're eating dinner and Jakey burps, and I frown at him and tell him not to do that and then Justin burps and says, "Oops! I farted out my mouth!" He forgets the word "burp" LOL!

Yep they're gross little boys aren't they? But sometimes cute.
I'm selling my kids! Oh my goodness! Yesterday Kevin worked like 16 hours because he was trying to learn his new job so I was alone from the minute they woke up until it was bedtime and they bickered all day long, then at bedtime screamed at eachother and cried for an hour before finally falling asleep. So they fell asleep a little after 9 PM and then I had a rought night getting up to pee and about 3 AM I see both of them in my room on the floor. Fine whatever. Well they're playing with the stupid dog making her growl and keeping me up and playing around, SINCE 3 AM????? Ugh.

So finally Kevin gets up at 6:00 AM to get ready for work and I've had enough of him turning on the light to pick out his clothes, the boys messing with the stupid dog and making her growl and my own pelvic and hip pain so I freaked out and kicked all of them out of my room. Kev put the dog outside and she's been whining ever since and the boys are in their room screaming because I chose not to keep the car to take them to the movies because they woke up at 3 AM and so we're all taking naps instead of going to the movies today. Ugh. Oh and they're in there trashing their room...and I will lose it if I go in there to stop them...so. Whatever. Stupid dog. Still howling. And now I can't go back to sleep at 6:30 in the morning. UGH! Yep, my kids are for sale (and the dog and husband too!).

Must. Remove. Behind. From. Chair.

Kevin started his new position today after negotiations for salary and some training yesterday. His new hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7 AM - 5 PM, Tuesday and Friday 7 AM - 9 PM and every 3rd Saturday he's on call meaning he works from home but has to be near a computer w/ internet and his cellphone all day. The hours stink a bit, but it's ok. For now he's the Assistant Yard Manager, in January they hope to make him the Yard Manager with another pay increase. So yipee for that!

Anyhow, so I slept terribly last night because it was SO COLD, so I guess today I'm going to wash up our warmer blankets (I don't like using them after they've sat for 6 months in a closet, LOL) and put them on our bed and the boys' beds today. And I also woke up really early - at 6:00 AM because it was Kevin's first day and he was so nervous about oversleeping he must have woken up about 74384729 times during the night to check what time it was. LOL

Anyhow so here's my to do list, maybe if I write it down and cross it off, I'll actually accomplish something!

* Laundry, the two loads I have left still and some bedding.

* The kitchen - dishes and counters

* The living room - fold laundry, put it away, and vacuum.

* Make up the beds with more blankets.

* Make a real dinner, probably baked chicken, mashed potatoes, and a veggie.

* Complete a bunch of history and science lessons with Jakey online and see what we need to do for the rest of this quarter because I want to finish the quarter 2 weeks early and have time to take off when the baby comes.

Ok, I'm going to try to remove myself from this chair. Let's see if it works!

Only 3 appointments left!!!

Unless I go into labor, that is. LOL

I went to the doctor today - had a u/s, they're estimating her to be about 6.5 lbs - I think she's a bit smaller then that - I think she's going to come out on November 12th weighing 7 lbs 8 oz or so. But anyway, LOL, I was checked, I'm the same as last week. So I go back in two weeks, on 10/23, then on 10/30, and last on 11/6 and then c/s on November 12! Can you believe it?! The bad part of the appointment was that I gained 5 lbs in 6 days! Holy pound a day Batman! I have got to chill on eating so much! LOL The doctor didn't say anything about the gain though, when I brought it up he said, your overall gain is good still and I don't think I should make pregnant women feel bad, they see the scale, they know, but you're fine.

When I see her little clothes I could almost cry because I'm so excited for her to finally be here! I'm so excited!

"I drew on the Pee-ought-Oh, Mommy!"

On Saturday my mom babysat for us for a few minutes while Kevin and I went to his eye doctor appointment. When we got back Justin was so proud of himself. While Jakey is at school on Thursdays I have been teaching Justin how to write one letter a week, we've been working on one letter and one color a week. So far he's mastered B and C, A is too hard for him I guess. LOL Anyhow, Justin comes running up SO proud of himself, "Mommy! Mommy! I drew on the Pee-ought-Oh, Mommy!" My first thought was OH NO! Not the PIANO! My parents have a VERY expensive grand piano in their living room, you can kind of see it in the background of some of the pics I posted, VERY expensive I tell ya. So, I asked him, "On the PIANO?" "No, no, on the PEE-OUGHT-OH" I couldn't figure out what that was so I said, show me. Justin led me outside and there were a bunch of perfect B's and C's on the PATIO! LOL He'd gotten sidewalk chalk and drawn tons of letters. Good for him, that washes off! LOL

And now I shall spam you all with pictures! bwahahahahaha :)

First, I will scare you! Me, 32 days before my due date!! (and the boys)

And just me and Jakey - you can really see how big I am here...

Look how big Jakey is getting - he's "too cool" now...LOL

Remember I promised pics of Jakey in his cub scout uniform? Here is Jakey and my stepdad.

Going upside down for his Mother's Pin

With his den mother

My baby shower - from left to right, Kevin's mom, Kevin's grandma, my friend Sarah, with her back turned - Mary, and Shannon at the end of the table

The table and decorations, like the Halloween bowl? LOL

Me opening presents, it was the least horrible picture...LOL

Gosh, I hope none of you are on dialup!! LOL

Anyhow, there's some pics! Now just to wait for pics of the baby! LOL

A lot of randomness....

I'm pretty random this morning because I didn't blog yesterday and I have alot of cleaning to do (I know on the Sabbath...bad me) before we go to my mom's house to watch the afternoon session of Conference.

* Yesterday my mom and I went shopping for Jayden's blessing dress. This was very important to my mom to have a gorgeous blessing dress for her because she is the very first baby in our family to be given a name and a blessing. We got an heirloom style dress - BEAUTIFUL, thank goodness it was on her dime! I think I spent that much on half her wardrobe, not just one thing! LOL!

* The house next door (directly next door!) is for rent! The renters right now are super nice and we're going to meet with their landlord and we'll probably be renting that house. DIRECTLY NEXT DOOR! How awesome will it be to move next door? A ton less work, money (for gas), and packing! Yay for that!

* Kevin needed to take care of our backyard because we were in danger of losing the boys when they went out to play it was so over grown. So his mom came over to bring him some gardening equipment and told him there was a yard sale down the street with gardening equipment (lawnmower, weed eater, rake, etc.) and so Kevin went down there and got a lawnmower for $5!! Yay for us! Then he and the boys took care of the backyard, it looks a thousand times better back there!

* I got the boys a ton of shirts on clearance at Target yesterday! They love to match and luckily Justin's out of the "T" sizes and into just regular 5's and so I can buy their clothes in the same section. (Although it is a little sad to have a 3 year old who doesn't get to wear the cute "younger" style clothes in the toddler section!)

* Kevin is making breakfast for us this morning - bixcuits and gravy and sausage! Yum, Yum!

* I finally got all 10 loads of laundry that were on the couch folded, and now that Jakey's awake I'm going to have him help me put it away!

* We're going to my mom's house for the afternoon session of conference and dinner. We were going to go to a friend's house but Kevin's on call and might have to work and my parents won't be offended at all if he has to up and leave in the middle of something to go into work.

* I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and another ultrasound. Yay for my 14th ultrasound! LOL I don't even know where I'm going to put all these ultrasound pictures, LOL!

* Ok everyone, have a great Sunday! I'm going to go pick up the house a bit and do some more laundry and then head to my mom's, later!

Friday, October 05, 2007

Yay, it's Friday!! :) The best thing is, it's normally so stinking hot here in Cali but not today! It's maybe 55 right now, with a high of 62 and RAIN! Well it's not raining yet, but it looks like it's going to! :)

I'm taking the boys to the park today (as long as it's not pouring) and hanging out with my friends, so that should be fun. I realized today - oh crud, I have 2 hands and 2 kids and now I'm about to have more kids than hands! LOL How in the world will I ever go anywhere again! LOL Just a momentary freak out thing, I'm sure it'll be ok, but still.

We haven't heard a WORD from our landlord. So I have no idea what's going on there. Every day I must get 10 calls a day from people in our ward "the house across the street is for rent!" LOL, I guess they want us to stay in the boundaries. LOL I don't know what we're going to do because we are drawn to houses not in the ward boundaries because of the better schools and better homes and neighborhoods for the money. But who knows. We're not opposed to staying in the ward boundaries either.

Well I better do some laundry and dishes before it's time to head to the park - I hope everyone's having a fabulous friday!

Kevin saw my new header and wants to know why I put a tie on him, LOL.

Anyhow, yesterday Kevin went to work at 4:30 or so in the morning and was supposed to get off by 7:30 PM so that I could go to my Girl's Night Out I'd been planning for TWO WEEKS. Well he ended up having to go to Paso Robles and I knew he wasn't going to get home in time so I had to cancel with my girlfriends. My mom came and got us though and we went out to Mexican food for dinner and then to Kmart to walk off dinner. I got Jayden a cute Baby's First Christmas outfit, a little red santa dress outfit and a few other things, what I can't resist girl clothes! LOL It was a fun time and the best part was, it was the boys' bedtime when we got home! Straight to bed with them! LOL

So, I watched Pushing Daisies - YUCK, I was NOT impressed at all by it. I generally find narration during shows annoying, the only show it doesn't bother me on is Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy (sometimes it bugs me on Grey's). I watched Private Practice - still not too impressed, it's ok, but it's not Grey's. And fell asleep. Kevin STILL wasn't home. He was just leaving Paso Robles. So I woke up at 2:00 AM and Kevin should have been home by then so I called his cellphone and got no answer - FOR TWO HOURS! By 4:00 AM I was freaking out. Finally Kevin called me, he had been out of cell service where he had decided to pull over and rest, so he didn't get my calls. He would be home at about 5:30 - 6:00. So I dozed off and on until 6:00 when he got home and then went upstairs to sleep. At 7:00 AM I had to get up and get Jakey ready for school and Kevin slept until 9:00. I was so jealous! LOL But I can sleep during the day. He stayed home from work so I could nap later too.

Anyhow, I'm BEAT after not getting much sleep last night. I think I'm going to go head back to bed nowt hat I've had lunch!

I know I'm posting alot, but...

How cute would something like this be for our Christmas card this year?

Of course with our pics, LOL, but what a cute idea! I really don't want to do birth announcements and Christmas cards, too much work! LOL

Some Randomness

* Rachel - I can't read your blog, it freezes up my computer. It's been happening for a few weeks now, what's up with that?? :(

* My contractions fizzled out overnight. Oh well, I have cleaning to do!

* I still haven't packed my bag...I hate packing my bag too early because then what if I need the stuff out of it? LOL

* I STILL need to get a charger for my camera, I will do this tomorrow - FOR SURE.

* Kevin's not only doing his office job but his truck driver job this week because they're understaffed still. So he's working 12-16 hour days all week.

* I bought the boys Fantastic Four on DVD yesterday thinking it would occupy them while I clean - nope they jump around the house pretending to be the Fantastic Four and driving me up a wall.

* I have a RS Potluck to go to tomorrow - do you think I can claim too pregnant to cook?

* I just found a potato peeler in the washing machine when I changed over the laundry.

* I have a GNO tonight, I sure hope Kevin makes it home in time! I NEED to get out!

* I need to work with Jakey on school - I'm such a slacker.

* I hope that we move into a house in a better school district so we can put him in regular school for 4th grade.

* I better go clean my house....later!

I'm "Unethical"?!?!?

This afternoon I was sitting here resting a bit and our landlord came to the door. Yesterday was the first and she called twice and we weren't home and we tried to return her call twice, so we could discuss the foreclosure with her. She didn't return our phone calls. So, she shows up at the door and was like, "So, I'm here to collect the rent." Well I didn't want the boys to overhear my conversation so I told her give me a sec to get my keys to the car and I've got some papers for you. So I grabbed the keys and we went out front. I gave her a copy of the foreclosure papers and told her, "what's up with this house being in foreclosure?" She looked at the papers for a few minutes and she's like, "this house isn't in foreclosure, it's for sale." I told her the top of that paper says NOTICE OF DEFAULT, it's in foreclosure. She kept arguing with me and telling me it wasn't and so on. Now she's not the owner of the house, she's just his "agent" because he doesn't live here locally, so she called the owner of the house. She spoke to him in Spanish and so I didn't understand what she was saying and then she says, "he promises it's not in foreclosure and wants to know if you're going to pay your October rent or not." I told her why? What's it going to get me? Somewhere to live? And she's like well yeah, you still have to pay rent whether or not the house is in foreclosure. And I said, you're right, I do pay my obligations and I do feel that they are entitled to my regular rent of $1100 even if the house is in foreclosure -HOWEVER I paid a $2000 deposit and I KNOW I'm not getting that back since he can't afford the house payments. She said it was none of my business what he could afford or couldn't afford (UM YEAH it is if it's about my deposit!) And so I said that I think that as long as we're not staying here past using our $2000 deposit we are in the right. She said, "what about cleaning fees when you move?" and I said, the bank is going to sell this house - the new owner isn't buying it because its in "rental ready condition" they're just buying a house at auction someone stopped making payments on, they generally don't expect it to be perfect but we weren't going to leave the house a dump. She was like what if we get it out of foreclosure - good for them, I don't trust them! So she's like "how soon can you be out?" I told her not until December 1st, our $2000 deposit covers us until then. And she seemed annoyed, during the whole thing she was rolling her eyes and groaning at whatever I said that she didn't agree with.

Then the conversation took a turn for the worse, she started yelling at me that I'm "Unethical" because I expect to get something for nothing - and I started screaming right back "I'M UNETHICAL? I think the person whose taken my rent money for the past six months and not made the house payments to ensure that I would have a home for my two young boys and new baby is unethical, the person who doesn't have my security deposit is unethical, the person who still doesn't want to be honest with us about the foreclosure is UNETHICAL." I totally freaked, I'm sorry if we didn't have this huge deposit that we are LOSING because he didn't hold up his end of the deal here that covers two months worth of rent - THEN I'd be acting unethically - I just refuse to sit here and be screwed on this house when the money WAS ours - we deserve it back and since that's going to be like getting blood from a turnip I want the deposit the only way I know how. I also yelled at her, "what's he going to do with the rent money anyways? Pay it up? I don't think so! Tell him that his rent money is whatever he spent my deposit on." Then she yelled at me, "well I sure hope your heater works, we won't be making any more repairs to the house." Yeah. Me too.

Anyhow I was freaking out and shaking by the end of the conversation - in good news I did not cry!
I had another appointment today. I think I should have my own parking space and chair in the waiting room don't you think? LOL

The doctor just listened to her heartrate - 150's, checked my fundal height - 35cm, and then checked my cervix - 3 cm and 100% effaced! Coupled with the contractions I'm having it could be early labor, or it could peter out and be nothing. He's like pretty much this means you could have your baby in 1 day or on November 12th, yep, means nothing. LOL The contractions just feel like slight cramping, nothing terribly noticable about them. I went to Walmart to get the last few things I need for my bag for the hospital and they felt more intense there, I had a flashback to my water breaking with Jakey at Walmart so I hurried out of that store, LOL. Now they're back to just slight crampiness now and then.

Well I got a bunch of cleaning supplies too at Walmart, so I'm off to pack my bag and clean this house up.

I went ahead and called the doctor's office this morning to see if I should come in because Jayden was being very quiet since yesterday. So I went in about 11:00. I had to see the nurse practitioner because my dr was out of the office for the morning and overbooked for the afternoon. She noticed a big bruise on my belly and a muscle spasm where it hurts so she decided to go ahead and have me do an NST and an ultrasound. So I got hooked up for the NST and had contractions about every 5 minutes, I didn't feel them though, I just feel some crampiness, but Jayden did NOT like the monitors and freaked out, woke up and beat the crud out of her heartrate monitor...how does she know the difference between that one and the contraction monitor??? LOL She only calmed down during a contraction and then she would freak out again and start hitting the monitor, the nurse came in after about 20 minutes and said nevermind, she's being really loud beating up the heartrate monitor...LOL By then it was lunchtime so I went and had lunch and then came back for the ultrasound. Jayden's measuring at about 6 lbs right now and doing all that she should. My placenta looked good and I have plenty of amniotic fluid so there's no real reason for the bruise. Especially since I didn't land on my belly, only on my butt!

Anyhow, the nurse practitioner doesn't do pelvic exams on pregnant women so I have to still go back tomorrow for my regular appointment to be swabbed for Group B Strep and have a pelvic exam - oh the joy!

So far Jayden and I are doing good - six weeks from today is my c/s, so this time six weeks from now I'll definately be holding my baby girl, why do the next six weeks seem SO FAR AWAY!!
