I've been going crazy cleaning, so much so that last night my feet were SO SWOLLEN I could hardly walk to bed. Thank goodness that went away this morning! My feet are back in fighting shape and I can get back to cleaning this house! My agenda for today is all the downstairs floors and folding/putting away all the laundry!

Kev's going to take Jakey's scout uniform to his grandma to have patches put on it before his pack meeting tonight and pick up Jakey. Tonight my mom is coming to get us and we're going to Jakey's pack meeting at 6:30 - he earned some stuff at the Scout Day Camp he went to and he's getting his Bobcat tonight, he's excited. Afterwards we're going to dinner at Don Pepe's! Yum! I'll be sure to take pics of my cutie in his uniform! Adorable! :) Unfortunately Kevin can't make Tuesday night things because that's his late night at work.

Ok, I'm starving, off to eat some breakfast, have a good day all!

First I nested on my blog..

and now I'm nesting in the rest of hte house! LOL Why do all the drawers call out to me to organize their "junk" and corners of the floor cry out to me "get rid of these dust bunnies!", closets are waking me from sleep "I need to be organized!" and clothes are calling from drawers, "I don't even fit anymore, box me up!" Tell the voices to stop!!!!

Anyhow I caved to some of them and cleaned the boys' room. Kevin just moved furniture and left it a major mess in there so bad I couldn't even walk through there to tuck them in! So I finally got in there and got to work, organized their stuff and threw away a ton of it! It looks SO MUCH BETTER. Now I can't move the TV that is still in there because their room used to be our family room, and DH doesn't agree with me about removing it (I FIRMLY believe they DO NOT need a TV in their room) so I just unplugged it for now and detached the antennae and put it in a closet...oh well I can't move the TV but it's not watchable and that's better than just leaving it in there working, right?

Ok off to make a tuna sandwich - I know mercury and all - but it's what I want, and I don't think this one tuna sandwich is going to hurt that baby. Even though I feel a little guilty everytime I eat a tuna sandwich. Better than a greasy nasty burger from a fast food place, right?

I did something with my blog! Aren't ya proud! I even put up links! I know I'm missing some friends but I will get them on there, promise! I even made a little cheesy banner with all of my kids in it! Yay me! On the other hand, I should have been cleaning my house, but eh, oh well, that wouldn't have been as fun!

Unfortunately my pics from my trip won't show up in this format, so sorry about that, but I hope you all caught them before I changed my format. I'll have to actually start resizing pics in this format. LOL

Whew! Well I've been unpacking but still have alot to do to get this house clean! LOL The boys room needs cleaning and organizing because Kev moved them downstairs so that we could start on Jayden's room, so their old room needs lots of cleaning too so we can transfer Jayden's things to her room.

This morning I was laying in a recliner with my shirt lifted up watching my belly move like crazy with the boys and Justin looks and my belly, touches it and says, "Awww, who scratched your belly all up?!" (Stretch marks! LOL) My stretch marks aren't even reddening at all or growing or anything, I don't have any new ones, guess that's the benefit to having already stretched your stomach to maximum capacity two times...LOL

Ok, gotta locate some motivation and get this house done. I would be nesting except I don't have the energy to clean! LOL I also have to research monitors online - I want to get one that can hear the boys and have a unit for Jayden's room and the one receiver for me in my room. And I don't want to spend a fortune. Kev says I should wait and see if we get one at our "Baby Luncheon" (My mom and I compromised, I don't want a baby shower and she REALLY wants to throw me one, so we're having lunch with just my family, Kevin's family, and my 5 closest girlfriends and a few of my mom's friends) but I am NOT registering, when people ask me what we want/need I say, "whatever you want to get or not get is totally fine with me!" Ok, time to go research that monitor thing!

We're heading out in the morning for our vacation! So I'll see you all when I get back!!

I did have a checkup today to make sure Jayden and I are safe to travel, I was having contractions but I got some antibiotics for a UTI and they seem to be more easily controlled now, they aren't changing my cervix so I am good to go. Her heartbeat was great, measured well, and I gained 4 lbs! ACK! I'm still under prepregnancy weight but I was kind of hoping not to gain much weight until my 3rd trimester, oh well, what can ya do. At least Jayden weighs 1 lb now LOL!

I am not a fan of packing

What a day, we've been going through clothes, making lists, and putting things together all day for our trip! We also rearranged the living room so that while we're gone Kevin can move the boys into the family room downstairs (It has doors and a closet) so that we can get started on Jayden's room when we get back.

Only a few more hours til I escape and get to go on my girl's night out!

Im on my 4th skein!! LOL One side has about 2 rows that I'm a little concerned are too far over, but we'll see, the ends and turning around has proved to be a bit difficult for me! LOL

Jakey is LOVING Cub Scout Day Camp. He's done some archery, made rootbeer, roped a person, made things, just had a blast. He's in a group with all the boys from our ward, two of them are brothers and one of them is named Jacob so they had to seperate the Jacob's because as Jakey put it, "It'd just be silly to say Jacob and Jacob come here" LOL I suppose it would. Our Primary President is the mom in charge of their group and so she's been snapping pics of them, which I can't wait to see!

Justin was NEVER meant to be an only child. Wow....let me tell you, this kid, is NUTS! He really doesn't know how to play by himself at all, and he gets bored so quickly! By 1 PM I was worn out from being his playmate so I ended up taking a nap with him! LOL

Oh Jenn asked about our two week vacation....my parents cabin! :) Kevin and my stepdad are coming up on weekends (maybe just this first weekend) because they still have to work, but my mom is off in the summer so we scheduled ourselves for 2 weeks up there. I had to do Sharing Time 4 times in the last 30 days to get someone to cover my Sharing Times the rest of July, LOL! I'm taking Kevin's sister Catherine for her help with the kids, she's so excited!

It rained today and was like 100 degrees, it was kinda crazy weather - of course it was like 0.0000000001 inch of rain and now I'm watching the 11 o'clock news and they're like "Storm Watch 2007" uh huh. LOL We are having thunderstorms right now and some lightening...but I think it's cool :)

So what else can I say to be totally random? Oh yeah! I made spaghetti tonight for dinner and Justin never really says words he's not sure of pronouncing he just says "that" or "this" or says "what do you call that again?" anyhow tonight he asked for more "sketty", cute! He got embarrassed because he knew it didn't come out right, and now he won't call it by name, he's just saying "dinner" LOL!

Ok still watching the 11 o'clock news - what is up wtih all these people standing in line all day for Harry Potter? Yikes! And in costume????? LOL I've seen a few of the movies (well some of one of them) but never read the books. And today it was raining and they still stood in line all day for Harry Potter?! Did I miss something? LOL

Anyhow this load of laundry is ALMOST done (Jakey has to wear the same shirt every day to scout camp, so I have to wash it every day argh) and I'm going to switch it and go to bed....well at least what I've begun calling "Jayden boucing on the bed for 2 hours before I forget about it and fall asleep time." LOL

I, as uncreative or craft-untalented as I am, learned how to crochet (somewhat) yesterday (well picked up a book and asked some questions) and I'm 1 skein - is that how you spell it? - of yarn through a blanket! I know, *I* learned a domestic skill...amazing huh?

I was told by my teacher to get *big* yarn at first and use a K crocheting hook the first time to make things easier - so in "big" yarn I ended up only finding one color I like - GRAPE. LOL So now I'm part way through a GRAPE blanket, but it's pretty cute. There's some stuff that's not "perfect" but nothing to unravel for.

Soooooooooooooo, today is stay-home-and-do-all-laundry day! We're leaving on vacation on Friday and I need to get all our clothes clean so that I can sort what we'll need for two weeks away and get ready to pack. I've decided to for-go suitcases in favor of large plastic totes from Walmart...LOL (What! I'm not going to a hotel, I'm going to a cabin in the woods!) They're perfect! They stack well, hold alot, and don't zip! Yay!

Y'all gonna miss me??? TWO weeks away! Starting Friday! :) When I get back I'm going to bog down my blog with TONS of pics of our trip.

Well Jakey's at Scout Day Camp and I just have Justin so I have a ton of housework to do while I'm down a kid. Be back later to comment on everyone! Gotta start the dishwasher and washing maching - exciting huh?

A hilarious thing happened at church today. I had Sharing Time and my topic was Family History....so part way through the ST I was talking about how difficult it can be to find family members - but that if more than one person is doing it, many more family members can be found. So to illustrate my point I had shredded some papers and was sprinkling them on the floor of the Primary room (intending to have 1 child, then 2 children, and so on picking them up as a "game") . Anyhow I'm sprinkling these papers on the floor and apparently greatly distressed a 3 year old Sunbeam! He was SOOOOOO upset I was making a mess in the church! While I was sprinkling the papers around he started crying and telling his dad (who has to sit with him because he won't stay in Primary) that I was making a mess and making Jesus sad and just carrying on. When I was having kids picking up the papers and it was his turn he brought me some and said "I'll help you clean this up, but NO MORE MESSES!" LOL

(Too bad that as clearly as his parents got across "no messes at church" the "stay in our pew" message didn't come across as clearly...LOL His parents both spoke during Sacrament Meeting and he ran up not once but TWICE and banged on the organ during their talks....LOL)

Holy Heat, Batman!

I wanted to go crib shopping today - went to a few stores even, and going from the car to the store was making me sick. The car's thermometer read 121 degrees. Shoot me now! I've decided to become nocturnal, I'll go shopping at night. LOL

So my blog went crazy, for me anyways, and then I ran off to eat, and eat, and eat, and eat, and eat for several days! LOL

The 4th was fun, we went out to breakfast with some friends and then to their house to hang out for a bit, then we went to Kevin's grandparents house which was HOT HOT HOT. They have a swamp cooler and it was 110, those things don't work well over 100! And there were 30 people squeezed into a 1200 sq ft house. Yeah it was HOT!

Then last night about midnight Kevin fell down the stairs and I asked him and asked him and asked him if he was ok and he kept insisting he was fine, so we went to bed. He woke up this morning with a lump on his arm, I thought surely his arm was broken (it was horribly bruised looking and swollen on top if it looking like a bone was poking out but not through the skin). So we got the kids up (who could barely open their eyes the smoke from the fireworks was so bad) and my mom met us at urgent care. Turns out he just bruised it on the bone, like really deep bruising. So he'll be fine. They put him off work for 2 days, which thank goodness, I was having visions of him having a broken arm and needing 6 weeks off to heal and him having to be on temp disability through our state, and us not having enough money and so on, and I about cried when she said it wasn't broken! LOL Now I bet he takes those dang stairs more carefully! This was NOT the first time he has fallen down them! He is just NOT careful when he goes down them, he like lounges forward and runs down them, it's not a good idea!!

Anyhow thanks for the compliments on Jayden's pics...we think she's beautiful! :) Hopefully this post goes through so *I* can see it too!! LOL

Today's Ultrasound

Jayden grew perfectly during the last month. She looks great and healthy and all that, just wonderful! And she's still a girl! LOL

Hello friends! Did you all have fabulous weekends???

I did for the most part! :) Kevin had to work Saturday, well Friday night his mom came and took my kids home with her when she got hers, so I was going to be home alone on Saturday so Kevin asked me to go with him to work so we could spend time together. Since he's a truck driver that meant that we'd be driving from Bakersfield to Brawley and back in one day. 600 miles. Oh and in Brawley it was 126 degrees. Ouch. Anyhow it was fun to spend time with him but MAN OH MAN he must have the most boring job on the planet! I could not do it! By the end of the EIGHTEEN HOUR day my legs were so swollen! I couldn't find my feet! It was horrible, it felt like they were going to explode they were so tight!

Anyhow so we got home at 10:30 last night and I worked on my Sharing Time and then crashed - woke up late for church even. Luckily Kev got up, let me sleep, and dressed the boys! Anyhow Sharing Time went great but my feet started swelling again. During Sacrament tons of babies were blessed - so sweet! Then I came home and slept for 3 hours! HEAVENLY!!!

Justin passed out during dinner, sitting upright in his chair! LOL So now just Jakey's awake and I'm totally ready to head back to bed but I have to do a little laundry before I go to bed cause I have a u/s tomorrow. Speaking of which, Kevin is taking tomorrow off to watch the boys while my mom and I go to the u/s and out to breakfast and stuff...fun!! :) I'll be sure to update tomorrow after my u/s!

Anyone got any motivation to spare? I can't seem to find mine. =/

Yesterday BIL and SIL came over to spend the night (thank goodness next week is the last week of summer school! Yay!) Anyhow, BIL was like, "why aren't you taking me on your trip, and only taking Catherine (SIL)?" I told him, watch today you'll see why I'm not taking you....I'll point it out to you as we go. So, Justin was watching TV and asked PJ to get him a drink of water (I could hear this, I was in the kitchen doing dishes though) and PJ told him to go ask someone else, Catherine hopped up and brought him in the kitchen, asked me what he could have, and poured him a drink. Then, she stayed in the kitchen, grabbed a sponge and wiped off the table and counters and took out the trash. I didn't ask her to, she just did it. Then, later Justin woke up from a nap after everyone had eaten dinner, I was in the bathroom and he just said out loud "I'm hungry" and Catherine got up and heated him up a plate of dinner and helped him get settled to eat his dinner. Then the dog knocked over a cup and it broke, next to PJ when Catherine, nor I was in the room, and PJ didn't even move to clean it up, Catherine and I did.

Those are the reasons I'm taking Catherine and not PJ, when I pointed them out to him he said "oh you just want her to do stuff for you" and I said, no, I want her to be helpful without me asking, without her rolling her eyes when I ask her to do things, I want her to make the trip just a tiny bit easier. PJ rolled his eyes when I told him to put his plate in the sink, or take his cup back in the kitchen...I don't need that kind of help AT ALL, nor do I need another person to clean up after. So, now he still thinks it's unfair Catherine gets to go, but oh well, she's helpful - he's not, end of story.

Anyhow, so we usually just wake up when we wake up, whenever that is, well because of this we overslept and the kids were almost late for school this morning! LOL The worst part was it woke up Justin, darn it! So no going back to bed. :( Oh and Jakey has lovely PJ-attitude this morning, complete with eye rolling and stomping. Lovely.

This is going to be a long day. Kev's grandma can't take the kids (BIL and SIL) and so I am supposed to watch them this afternoon and my mom agreed to come get us all and take us to swim at her house, and really I know two boys that I want to just stand in corners and not enjoy their day at all. Grrrr.

Anyhow I have no motivation this morning and I would love to have a clean house and done laundry by noon. LOL We'll see if it happens. :)

This morning I was feeling a little annoyed by the comments "You're HUGE" "You'll NEVER make it to November" "Wow, your belly is just getting bigger everytime I see you!" and the TOUCHING!!! Oh my goodness the touching, what are people thinking touching my belly!!! ACK! Makes me nuts, my kids, my husband don't even touch my belly, but strangers!!! AHHHHHHH!! So I saw these shirts :) I don't think I would actually wear one, to think of it is fun though!!!















Anyhow, I don't know I probably wouldn't wear any of them (except maybe the "I maybe huge, but at least I don't say stupid things to pregnant women" one LOL). But I definately feel not alone in my struggle with this, if there are shirts for it, I must not be the only one who hates this! LOL

Anyhow, I have to run off today to take them to the dentist and stuff like that....fun stuff! :)

Anyhow, I was considering buying the Simplicity Nursery-In-A-Box at Walmart for $199 and then upon looking at reviews I came across one review where a baby died in it. Now on one hand, they warn of babies dying in your bed (sleeping with you) but we've done that and not thought much of it, and so I'm inclined to believe that it may have been user error, not putting it together right, etc. But on the other hand, could I sleep in another room if my baby were in that crib? Hmmmm....I just don't know. I kind of don't think so. Kevin thinks he wouldn't be able to sleep and that if something happened I'd blame him forever for putting it together wrong. So what do you think? Could you let your child sleep in a crib that you read ONE bad (child died) review but 50 good reviews for?

My day in pictures

Soooo, my mom called and woke ME up at 8:30 this morning (the boys and I were wiped from none of us sleeping well while they were off trucking with Kevin...LOL) and she didnt get into Bakersfield until 2:00 am, but wanted to stay on "schedule" so she wanted to get up and going. She came to get us and we went swimming, so in any picture I'm in, don't mind the no makeup/wet hair look, ok? We went swimming twice, the first time Jakey swam but we didn't take pics, the second time only Justin and I swam and Jakey, my mom, and stepdad all watched from the sidelines.

Then we went shopping for a few minutes at Walmart, we got an awesome deal, this diaper bag for $3!!!!! Since the camera was out mom snapped a shot of the ever growing belly....better belly shot coming up soon....with make up and where my hair is dry LOL

Doctor's Appt 20w4d

Everything went really well. I lost 2 more lbs, bp good, urine dip good, heartbeat great, still measuring a couple weeks ahead but that's fine. He's a bit concerned about the number of contractions I've had so I have another u/s next week to check out her heart and spine and then transvaginal to measure my cervix, that's next Monday and then I have another dr's appt on July 12th. Overall everything looked great!
